During the month of April, Theo van de Venne will display his photos of a series named “Native Spring Flowers of Duff Park” at the Murrysville Community Library. Theo is a member of the East Suburban Artists League (ESAL), a group that partners with the Murrysville Community Library to display works of local artists. Theo’s interest is not limited to generally small flowers; he has visited many national parks, both in the USA and overseas. Initially to hike, but later to photograph landscapes. Another hobby is woodworking, he makes his frames and mattes! He has also been on the Board of the library for more than ten years. Stop by the library to see his photography on display through the month of April. Theo will also host a talk about his photography on Tuesday, April 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library’s Tech Nook area.
