In this workshop, participants will be guided through a creative mindfulness practice that supports slowing down, connecting with nature, and practicing being in the moment- without forcing it. Inspired by the Buddhist practice of creating mandalas, we will use flowers and other objects found in nature to create our own temporary art as a form of meditation and expression with nature. Participants will have space to reflect on and share how this process relates to their everyday lives and self-care practices, and what lessons and tools they’d like to take with them. All are welcome and there is no meditation or creative experience necessary to join this workshop. Register online at www.murrysvillelibrary.org or call the library at 724-327-1102.
